So Long, And Thanks For All The Drink Tickets

 I didn’t really wanna have to make a post about this, but we keep getting asked to play shows and I keep having to make excuses on why we can’t do it, so here we go. 

Despite previous claims (which were at the time truthful) that we were only taking a break from shows, Indonesian Junk has decided to call it quits as a band. It’s been a great 8 1/2 years playing with Mike, Johnny, and all of the other amazing people who have been in and out of this band. There’s no bad blood or anything, we’re all cool with each other and just decided that it was time. 

Thank you to everyone who came to our shows, bought our records and t-shirts, fed us, let us sleep on their floors and couches, booked our shows, put out our records, played us on their radio shows, wrote about us in their zines and blogs, etc. Extra special thanks to Malibu Lou and Lisa at Rum Bar Records for all the amazing work they’ve done for us and Shane at Howl Street Recordings for always making us sound so cool.

And of course thanks to Mike, Johnny, Justin, David, Miski, Mark, Adam, Jim, DJ, Terry, and Tony for putting up with all my shit for as long as you did, and never making me drive the van once.

I got a couple of real cool musical projects in the works that I’m not ready to talk about just yet, and I’m sure the other guys got stuff coming up too. In the meantime you can catch me playing solo shows and doing stuff with Chinese Telephones.
